Tuesday the dental office called and said they had a cancellation for the OR and if we would like Keira to have her dental work done on Friday. I hurried around and got all the paperwork sorted to get her in.
She was a peach, the whole time with a little issue when we got into the OR, but other than that she was great.
They let her play with the mask for an hour before hand and even gave her some pink stuff that mellowed her right out and made her sleepy, but when they attached the mask to the gas – she flipped out. It took 6 of us to hold her down. At one point she even flipped over on her stomach. Once we got her back over and the mask back on it only took a few seconds before she was out cold.
She woke up pretty quickly and even walked to the car. When we got home Keira snuggled with me for a bit and then just wanted to eat – as long a she could eat in the big red chair.

Everyone See See!

Keira’s 4th of July Quote: Everyone See See!
The other kids were saying “Mom look at me” or “Nana watch this”
Keira yelled: Everyone See See!
Then swam completely under the water.
Nana and I laughed so hard!

Ingredients
1 frozen package of puff pastry sheets, comes as a set of two, this recipe uses one of those sheets.
2-4 pieces of cooked, crispy bacon
4-5 eggs with a dash of water.
sea salt and pepper to taste
Optional add-ins: small diced onions, peppers, cheese, spinach, etc
Instructions
Allow the puff pastry sheet to thaw enough for it to be workable, note quite room temp, but almost. Whisk the eggs together with a dash of water and then cooked them in classic scrambled fashion.
When the pastry is ready to work with, unfold the sheet (the one we used came in thirds). Cut the full sheet into three long pieces following the fold lines already there. Then cut those pieces in half. This should leave you with six pieces that are about 2.5 inches wide and 4 inches long.
Use a sharp knife or edged item to make downward cuts on the outer 1.5 inches on each side from the center (see images).
Fill the center, uncut, area with the cooked scrambled eggs and sprinkle with the crispy bacon.
Start at the top and fold over one side, then cross over the next pieces from the opposite side, follow this back and forth all the way down to the bottom, tuck the bottom pieces in well so they stay put and don’t puff up and out of the braid while baking.
Bake for about 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees or until the pastry has really increased in size and is golden brown.

I PULLED THE ULTIMATE STUPID Today I did…

I PULLED THE ULTIMATE STUPID!!
Today I did 3 things I NEVER DO!
1. I warmed my car. 2. closed my car door with the car running. 3. I didn’t keep my phone on me!
I went to Raymond to visit friends. About 1:30 there was 5 INCHES OF SNOW and the husband who had been running errands told me that Windham was a mess and I needed to leave right then if there was any chance of getting home and meeting my daughter’s bus on time. I messaged IHS to make sure he would be there to get Keira off the bus – just in case.
I went to my car, started it, put my bag with my phone in the car, SHUT THE CAR DOOR and the DOORS LOCKED!!!
I LOCKED MYSELF OUT OF MY CAR WHILE IT WAS RUNNING!!!
Triple A arrived at 3:10!
I will NEVER NEVER NEVER do those 3 things that I NEVER do EVER Again!! That’s exactly why I NEVER DO THEM!!!

*sigh* What sin did I commit?
Today we were going 50 mph down River Road in Windham, which is the speed limit, and some guy was on my bumper the entire length. We turn on to 202/Main St/Gray Road and the speed limit drops to 25 almost immediately and the guy, still on my bumper, passes me against double yellow lines.
I knew that there was a cop sitting at the fire station and I knew that in about 10 seconds the guy was going to get pulled over. ……. And he did.
I called it! All 4 of us waved as we drove by the guy. Of course the cop had his back to us, but the guy could see us.
I know I should repent for something.
