Tuesday the dental office called and said they had a cancellation for the OR and if we would like Keira to have her dental work done on Friday. I hurried around and got all the paperwork sorted to get her in.
She was a peach, the whole time with a little issue when we got into the OR, but other than that she was great.
They let her play with the mask for an hour before hand and even gave her some pink stuff that mellowed her right out and made her sleepy, but when they attached the mask to the gas – she flipped out. It took 6 of us to hold her down. At one point she even flipped over on her stomach. Once we got her back over and the mask back on it only took a few seconds before she was out cold.
She woke up pretty quickly and even walked to the car. When we got home Keira snuggled with me for a bit and then just wanted to eat – as long a she could eat in the big red chair.
