Now all the airing out and touch up work begins.

Tomorrow we start the chalkboard walls!!

First day went well. Second day was going well until I was removing some tape and it ripped off a large piece exposing Fugly wallpaper.

PLOT TWIST!
Since Keira’s room smells like paint, she has been sleeping with mommy and ACTUALLY SLEEPING through the Night!
This child who hasn’t slept more than 4 consecutive hours in her life!! Still wakes up, but some how realizes that she should be asleep and goes back to sleep as long as she’s with mommy! 10 YEARS! 10 YEARS!
I’M MOVING A BED INTO Keira’s room for me – we may all finally get a good night’s sleep.

Me: Time to Rise and Shine.
Keira: Time to go to the go to sleep.

SO PROUD OF KEIRA!! She sat through the entire Transition evening at the High School.
Also jealous of Riley – in a good way. She gets to go to High School. Biggest regret is that I never got to go to a real school and I missed out on all the awesomeness of High School.

I’m told that Keira told her teachers that she had a headache and she wanted to go home with Mom. (Translated from ‘Keira Speak’)
We’re having McDonald’s for lunch.

Me: I’m to rise and shine.
Keira: Sleep in.
Me: WHAT? Since when?

Now we just need her to understand we only write on black walls with chalk!
(Not regular walls with thick black marker!! Like they taught her to do in Pre-school!!)

IHS: Time to spit out the gum.
Keira: Gum Rules!

Keira is off the freaking wall this morning!!
Last night she was unusually chatty and attentive. Even filling out Valentine’s Day cards on her own. Putting in her classmates names! ON HER OWN – Without Prompting. I didn’t even know she knew that was a thing.
This morning Keira got up and in the bathroom during My Bathroom time and demanded to get dressed and she wants to get ready to leave for school. She has an hour before the bus comes.
Did they accidentally give her someone elses medication? If so, can they give it to her again?

Keira INSISTED on putting her classmates names on the Valentine’s Day cards. I didn’t even realize she knew that was a thing.
She only missed one and that could have been because I thought she had all of them and she was doing classmates that weren’t there any longer or making up names (like names from videos she watches) so I stopped her.

Keira and I have a ‘nonverbal’ agreement. If I let her wear a #pullup to bed, she will use it, take it off, fling it across the room and stay dry all night.

Last week it was Elmo in Mandarin.
Keira is going to be a UN interpreter when she grows up.

Keira: It’s time to bed.

Keira pulled the Abby doll out of her stocking and then went into shock for about an hour. She came out of it for a short time while Tom and Brownie were here and now she is singing to Abby and talking to her in different languages.

10 seconds for a Bowl of FUNGUS w/ dressing?!?!?
Me: Get your pants on and you can have a cup cake for breakfast.
10 MINUTES LATER Still no pants on.
Me: Get your pants on and you can have mushrooms for breakfast.
10 SECONDS LATER pants on and out of the bathroom.
Keira: mushrooms and dressing?

Me: What are you drawing?
Keira: I’m drawing a Hickory Dickory
(She drew a clock)

IHS: Keira can you name body parts?
Keira: Yes.
IHS: What do you eat?
Keira: Play-duh (while eating playduh)
IHS: what can sting you?
Keira: ray (sting ray)
IHS: 1, 2, ?
Keira: buckle my shoe
