12 inches of snow Freezing temperatures Keira insists…

12 inches of snow. Freezing temperatures. Keira insists on wearing a swimsuit! All Day – can’t get it off her.
I couldn’t convince her that she couldn’t go swimming, so I opened the door thinking she’ll step out on the back porch and understand …. she stepped out, paused for a second, turned and started to close the door behind her! I had to drag her back inside!

Took the girls to family swim tonight WOW…

Took the girls to family swim tonight – WOW Fun was had by all.
Riley grabbed some bubbles and went right in like she owned the place – even swam without the bubbles for daddy before we left. Such a big girl, walked into to the women’s changing room all by herself to come find Keira and I as we were getting ready to leave.
Keira has no fear – luckily she had bubbles on, because she got half way down the ramp and jumped in!
Another time, Tim sat her on the side to rest and she jumped in and went completely under – and showed no signs of slowing down.
She gives you a look as if to say “Just give me a second to stop choking and I’ll be ready to go again”
But when she was ready to leave, she was ready! and she’s been fussy ever since. She wants to go to bed, we’ve put her there 3 times and she keeps getting up cranky – course she was up all night last night – so Over the Top Tired.

Keira pulled me into her room saying …

Keira pulled me into her room saying “sleep” she wanted snuggle and tickle time. Then, when she was done with that she asked to color. When i said “Keira, do you want to color?” she said yes then went and cleared off the table!!! while i hunted down the paper and crayons. i was so surprised when i walked into the kitchen to find that she was already to color.

Keira has learned how to mock me She…

Keira has learned how to mock me! She can’t communicate, but she can repeat what I tell her to do in a smart ass voice.
This morning I told her “come here” she looked at me and with a ton at attitude said “Come Here” and didn’t budge. When I told her to come and pointed right in front of me, she repeated it and pointed to the floor and with a little swirly motion brought her finger all the way to the floor shaking her butt!
