I fear I re-strained my vocal cords today while laughing with my senior folks about the side effects of some medications.
Example:
- Several antidepressants caused depression and anxiety.
- Many medications caused Diarrhea AND Constipation.
- Another could cause you to hear ringing, buzzing and voices. It also could cause Paranoia. (REALLY? If I was hearing voices I’m sure paranoia would follow.)
- Several medications for constipation caused loss of bladder control.
- However the one that had us rolling on the floor (and blushing) One medication could cause: “Prolonged erection of the penis” (yes, mentally we’re all 9 y/o) Same medication caused an “inability to have an erection” and could cause “abnormal ejaculations”. (I’m betting that could be followed by some paranoia, depression and anxiety!)
