My Friends.
During Easter dinner, while Keira was in the midst of an epic meltdown, one of my friends offered to play with her so I could get something to eat.
Another offered to make me a plate so I would not have to leave the area where Keira was somewhat content.
Someone help Riley with lunch and everyone helped keep an eye on her.
When it was clear that I needed to take Keira home, another friend offered to drive Riley home later so she could stay and play.
And through the entire ordeal not once was there a deep sigh or any indication that my daughter was ruining Easter dinner.
I can think of nothing, in my life, that I have done to be worthy of these people.
I thank the Lord for the parents who raised these 8 children, for the 8 children, for their spouses and for the grandchildren.
I would feel eternally blessed if my daughters grew up to even partially resemble the characteristics of these people.
I can think of no better example of Christ than the Carlson Family.
Thank You: Judy, Al, Charity, Amanda, Rachel, Lindsay, Seif, Nate, Sam and anyone I missed (and Dale, Shannon and Onycha who were away.)
