Last night when we walked into Target Keira…

Last night when we walked into Target Keira said “Jacket Off”
I asked “Keira do you want your jacket off”
She replied “Yes please help me.”
***********************************
Today, Keira came into the bathroom and said “Cup of Water”
I asked “Keira, do you want a cup of water?”
She said Yes.
So I got her a cup of water and put it on the table and I went back to doing my hair.
A few moments later Keira flew past the bathroom giggling “Turtle Ah Swim”
After I finished my hair I came out of the bathroom to find Keira’s Wonder Pets Turtle squeezed into Keira’s cup of water.

This week I will take another pile of…

This week, I will take another pile of junk from the basement to the dump.
Babysit my sister’s kids for a morning.
Take a ‘brushing class’
Go to an IEP meeting
Clean a bit
Finish the basement
So that next week I can get back to finishing the upstairs.
NEXT WEEK – I start on the living room!
Once I finish the living room walls I can paint the living room and dining room – then start the kitchen!!

I put 4 different color bottle cap candies…

I put 4 different color bottle cap candies in my hand and asked Keira
“Keira what color bottle cap do you want?”
Each time she answered the question she got that color bottle cap.
Soon she just walked up to me and said one of the remaining colors in my hand!!
Far to much candy for 9 am, but I don’t care she’s COMMUNICATING!!!

Keira Report I ran out side and ended…

Keira Report.
I ran out side and ended up moving snow for about 5 minutes. When I came in Keira held up the hot dogs and asked for one.
Me: We’re not having hot dogs now, you can have one for lunch.
Keira: What time is it?
Me: 8:30.
Keira: Breakfast.
Me: You had breakfast
Keira: Lea help! Hungry.
Me: What do you want?
Keira: Chips.
Can You Believe It!!!! That is the most conversation anyone has ever gotten out of Keira!

This I may have given Keira the shot…

This I may have given Keira the shot incorrectly. She is already limiting the things she puts in her mouth – last night she didn’t chew on anything! It shouldn’t have worked that fast unless it was given in the muscle and if it’s given in the muscle its not supposed to have as many lasting effects – or so I’ve read. But WOW what a difference 24 hours made! Calling the DR now and asking if I can bring Keira with me tomorrow to have someone show me the right way.
