We need to UP Keira’s therapy. We need BIG TIME communication therapy 24/7. I’ll put a helmet on her and wrap her in bubble wrap to keep her from biting and smacking her head, but she needs to come out of her bubble and FAST!
Behavior Modification is coming in a close second – I’m giving this homeopathic crap 6 months – if I don’t see some real results soon we are going on the good drugs – As A Family!!

How I edit a video 1 I bring…

How I edit a video:
1) I bring the video into my editor program.
2) I skim the video in a controlled ‘high speed’.
3) I cut out the parts I don’t need.
4) click Make Movie
Steps 1-4 take all of 10 minutes TOPS
5) Name the movie and While the program creates an uploadable version on the movie, I:
a) I practice my forms
b) I get a cookie
c) scratch butt
d) stair at the laptop
e) Pop open a Smirnoff Ice
f) do forms again
g) look for coaster
h) go to the bathroom
i) check to see how much longer it’s going to take to process the movie
j) find that we still have chips YAY!
k) twiddle thumbs
l) learn a new word in Korean
This part takes anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes and I’m not doing anything. This is the LONGEST part of creating the videos and I’m doing Nothing!
6) Upload video to Youtube
This can take anywhere from 20 minutes to all night – again I’m doing Nothing to the video at this time.
However, while a video is uploading to YouTube I can do steps 1 – 5 again.

This morning one of Keira’s teachers happen to…

This morning, one of Keira’s teachers happen to mention that Keira has never had an accident at school – which I don’t think Keira has ever had an accident, but she’s had plenty of intentionals – like tonight. I scrubbed all the floors today, Keira came home and was playing with her toys, now that she’s remembered how, and she didn’t want to stop so she peed her pants, took them off and sat in the puddle and played until I realized what she had done. After giving her a quick bath I went back to finishing dinner when Keira figured she’d wait until the last possible moment to go poo. Took her pants off as she was heading out her bedroom door and pooped on the floor!!!

Keira was hanging around that kitchen while Tim was making his beans and she said “Help Daddy. I help.” Tim wasn’t sure if that was what she said so he said what and she repeated it. YAY!! She helped him sweep the kitchen. She got chicken out of the fridge and when daddy asked “Do you really want chicken” she replied Yes.
